Low voltage lighting transformers

Lighting transformers are necessary for some low voltage halogen fittings, and we stock a large range of these for your convenience. Low voltage transformers protect against short circuiting and overload with circuit breakers. Our 12v transformers are available in several voltage capabilities. Many of our transformers also offer dimming capabilities, allowing you to adjust the output of your light.

Lighting drivers

LEDs require drivers, which are basically a self-contained power supply that have outputs which match the electrical characteristics of a particular LED light. There are currently no industry standards for LED drivers, so understanding the electrical characteristics of your LED is critical in selecting or designing a driver circuit. Drivers should be current-regulated (deliver a consistent current over a range of load voltages). Drivers may also offer dimming by means of pulse width modulation (PWM) circuits. Drivers may have more than one channel for separate control of different.
