Compact Fluorescent Lights

Netlighting’s range of compact fluorescent lights (also known as CFL) has been carefully selected by our dedicated in-house team to provide businesses with a large selection to choose from. CFLs provide a good, energy-saving alternative to metal halide and incandescent lights, providing similar levels of luminosity whilst consuming far less electricity. All our commercial lighting fittings are manufactured according to the set safety and electromagnetism standards of Europe.

Energy Efficient

Because compact fluorescent lights don’t use heat to create light, the amount of energy needed is a fraction of the amount used by other bulbs. On average, compact fluorescent lights consume about one-fifth of the energy used by regular, general incandescent bulbs, and last up to ten times longer. As well as being an environmentally responsible choice, CFLs help businesses save large amounts on utility bills.

Infrared Radiation

Incandescent and halogen lights emit an awful amount of infrared radiation, which manifests itself as heat, making hot, commercial areas even stuffier. Conversely, compact fluorescent lights use an internal gas to create light, which makes them far cooler, and often cool enough to touch, even after several hours of use. This makes them an ideal fitting for areas which tend to get hot in any case, such as restaurant kitchens and the like.
